Description
Nos. 41 and 42 are a pair of mid-19th century houses that serve as a lodge to Stonor Park. They are constructed from knapped flint with raised brick quoins and bonded pilasters, featuring brick diaper patterning, a brick plinth, and dentil eaves. The houses have a slate roof with scalloped wooden bargeboards that include pierced quatrefoils, and there are two brick chimneys. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of three bays. The windows are paired cast iron casements with chamfered brick borders and mullions, surrounded by raised bonded brickwork with flat brick arches, flint keyblocks, and Tudor hoodmoulds. The ground floor window on the right has been altered to a three-light casement, and two single lights have been inserted in the centre of the ground floor. The gable ends feature blind roundels and gabled porches made of flint and brick, topped with slate roofs and arched entries.
