Description

This is a mid-19th century cottage located on Mentmore Road. It is built of white brick, with red brick detailing above the window and door openings, and the front has been whitewashed. The roof is slate, with a white brick chimney on the right side. The cottage is two storeys high and has one bay at the front. It has barred horizontal sliding sash windows, and a board door on the left. The left side of the cottage has a sash window on the upper level to the left, paired 19th-century sash windows below, and a single 19th-century sash window to the right. The building is included on the list because of its contribution to the surrounding group of buildings.
