Description

The Old Forge is a house dating from the 17th to early 18th century. It is timber-framed with whitewashed brick infill and a whitewashed flint plinth. The roof is tiled, with an external chimney of whitewashed brick on the left side, and a later brick chimney to the rear right. The house has one storey and an attic, with two bays. The ground floor has 20th-century paired leaded casement windows. A central 20th-century lean-to porch features a similar casement window and door. An attic window is located in the right gable. There's a 20th-century extension to the rear. The property is included on the list for its group value.
