Description
Westside is a house and garage that was originally the kitchen and servants' accommodation for Winslow Hall. It dates from around 1700 and has been altered and extended in the 19th and 20th centuries. The building is constructed of vitreous brick, with red brick quoins and window surrounds that have moulded edges. It features a shallow gable adorned with brick dentils and a painted blind round window, topped by a slate roof. The base of a former brick chimney stack is set back to the left. The structure is two storeys high. The front has a 20th-century panelled door with a hood, a garage entry on the ground floor, and two sash windows on the first floor. The right side has five bays of sash windows, a blocked doorway in the left bay, and an altered door in the centre bay. The building was extended to the west in the 19th century, featuring a similar gabled bay to the left and irregular sash windows.
