Description
Grange Cottage is a house dating from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. The front is made of flint and clunch, featuring brick and clunch dressings, while the left gable and rear are constructed of coursed clunch. The gable end facing the street is made of brick. The cottage has a thatched roof and a brick chimney on the right side. It is two storeys high with two bays. The front displays brick quoins and window jambs, along with a flush first-floor band course of chequered flint and clunch. The windows are irregular 20th-century paired leaded casements, with those on the ground floor having segmental clunch heads. There is a 20th-century door to the left. To the left, there is a 20th-century extension that is set back, rendered with flint panels, brick dressings, and an old tile roof. Additionally, there is another 20th-century single-storey flat-roofed extension at the rear.
