Description
This is a double bank barn located approximately 70 meters southeast of Ellers, likely built in the 18th century or early 19th century. The structure is made of stone rubble and features a slate roof. It has quoins and square ventilation holes. The north elevation includes two barn entrances with paired doors beneath pentices, and it is adorned with coped gables and kneelers, which are present only on this side. The south elevation has two drip courses and two 20th-century raking buttresses at the eastern end. There are three entrances to the cow house, each with pivoted doors, and a larger entrance under a flat arch situated between the buttresses. Additionally, there are two winnowing doors that are now blocked, featuring brick flat arches. Inside, the cow house retains its original stalls, while the barn has two collar and tie beam trusses at the eastern end and three tie beam trusses at the western end.
