Description

Fell View is an early 18th-century farmhouse situated on the east side of Hartlington Rakes Road, near Hartlington. The building is constructed of ashlar and rubble stone, with a whitewashed exterior and a graduated stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and originally comprised two bays. A central half-glazed door is topped by a simple slate triangular pediment. The right-hand bay features two-light flat-faced mullion windows, while the left-hand bay has three-light flat-faced mullioned windows, with a taller central light. The roofline has shaped kneelers and stone coping. There is an end stack to the left, and a further stack on the ridge.
