Description

The footbridge over Dale Beck, located to the west of the roadbridge, dates from the mid 19th century and is depicted as a ford on the 1840 tithe map. It features a large stone slab that spans between two substantial abutments. The low parapets are made of large, roughly dressed stones. The footpath is 2 to 3 feet wide.
