Description

The lych gate, built in 1866, is located to the west of the Church of St Peter. It was likely designed by Hay and is contemporary with the church. The structure features braced wooden uprights that support a hipped roof made of graduated slate, which has open gablets topped with wrought-iron crosses at both ends. The wooden gates are fitted with wrought-iron hardware. This lych gate is included for its group value with the church.
