Description
The byre range located to the northeast of Asby Hall dates from the mid-18th century and features later additions. It is constructed from squared, snecked rubble with quoins and is lime-washed. The building has a stone ridge and a graduated slate roof. It is a single-storey structure with loft access in the north gable. The west elevation includes a window in a stone surround on the left side, and a straight joint separates the north end, which is built at right angles on a plinth, from the rest of the building. There are two planked doors and four windows arranged symmetrically, with one window inserted into a blocked central wagon door. A corrugated iron barn to the south is not included in this listing.
