Description

This is a disused limekiln located approximately 500 metres east of Satron, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a paraboloid plan with courses of masonry that are corbelled back. The kiln has a horseshoe elliptical arch made of rubble voussoirs over the hearth and a circular hole at the top.
