Description

West End Farmhouse is a farmhouse and outbuilding under one roof, dated 1772. It is constructed of coursed rubble with a stone slate roof and has two storeys, featuring a house with three bays and quoins on all corners. The central entrance has a part-glazed door set in a finely-tooled ashlar surround, which includes splayed bases and a basket-arched soffit to the lintel, inscribed with "M/B E 1772". The later 4-pane sash windows have tooled sills and lintels. There are end stacks, and the outbuilding to the right has one opening on each floor.
