Description
This is a barn located approximately 100 meters to the south-west of Drebley Farm, dating from the 16th century with later rebuilding. The structure is built from rubblestone and features a roof made of heather, corrugated iron, and graduated stone slate. It is a single-storey building with four bays. On the right side, there is a wagon entrance that projects forward and has a graduated stone slate roof. To the right of this entrance, there is a 20th-century casement window and a board door. On the left end, there is a wide board door with a plain stone surround. Inside, the barn contains three cruck trusses with a yoked ridge, curved braces supporting two pairs of purlins, and wall ties, as well as collar purlins. The original common rafters are covered with heather thatching, and the roof is topped with corrugated iron. The west end of the barn features a loft that extends over half of one bay.
