Description

This is a cross located approximately 10 metres south of the Church of Saint Michael and All Angels in Downholme. The cross base, made of ashlar sandstone, features two square steps and is likely medieval in origin, possibly dating from the 15th century. The shaft, which has been renewed, is a 19th-century monolithic piece topped with a Celtic head.
