Description
The Old Vicarage is a vicarage, now a house, dating from around 1820. It is constructed of rubble with ashlar dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with an L-shaped plan that includes a rear wing to the right. The corners are accentuated with quoins. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door set within an ashlar surround. The windows are sash types, also framed in ashlar surrounds, and the building has moulded gutter brackets. The roof is hipped and has two ridge stacks. On the left side, there are two bays with sash windows that have glazing bars. The ground floor features a 16-pane window to the left and a canted bay window to the right. The first floor has a 20-pane window to the left and a 12-pane unequally-hung window to the right, with moulded gutter brackets above.
