Description

This guide stone, located on the south side of the B6160 in Thorpe, dates from the early to mid-19th century. It is made of gritstone and stands approximately 1 metre high, featuring a triangular shape. The left face of the stone has an inscription that reads "TO / BURNSALL / TO / LINTON / AND / KILNSEY," accompanied by two pointing hands. The right face displays the inscription "TO / THORPE / THRESHFIELD," also with two pointing hands.
