Folly. Early-mid C19. Rubble. Base in the form of a cube with tapering diagonal buttresses, and in the west side a narrow doorway with a blind oculus above. The top of the base has flagged coping about the tapering circular obelisk which rises from it, with 2 blind round-headed vents in the west side, and flagged capping. Interior: circular in plan, tapering towards the top, with beams across. The appearance of the folly has given it in recent times the nickname rocket ship.
