Description
West Scale Park Farmhouse is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is rendered with ashlar dressings and has a graduated grey slate roof. The building is two storeys tall and features a three by two bay layout. The central entrance consists of a half-glazed door set in a panelled stone surround, which includes a cornice and a blocking course, all designed in a very plain style. On either side of the entrance are large windows with plain surrounds, each fitted with 4-pane sash windows. All three ground floor openings are located within round-arched recesses. The first floor has three almost square windows, each with 6-pane sashes in stone surrounds, which are connected by a projecting band at the sill level. The farmhouse also features stone gutter brackets and banded end stacks. The interior has not been inspected during the resurvey.
