Description
Holme Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century, with some alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of squared limestone rubble with millstone grit dressings and features a stone slate roof. The building has a central staircase plan and is two storeys high with a double front.
The central entrance porch, which is gabled, was added around 1970 and includes a 20th-century door. There are two 3-light flat faced mullioned windows on the ground floor and two on the upper floor, with dripstones above the ground floor windows. The outer windows have fixed lights, while the central windows are sashes without glazing bars. The farmhouse has gable end stacks and a ridge stack located to the right of the centre.
