Description

The buildings at 39-43 Bridge Street form a group with numbers 29-45. These are a 17th-century property, originally two storeys and with an attic, though dormers have since been removed. The ground floor is constructed of brick, while the first floor is timber-framed and plastered. A continuous drip mould band runs along the first floor. There are five casement windows on the first floor, set within flush frames, some of which have been altered. The ground floor has three sash windows and two casement windows, all within flush frames and also subject to alterations. The entrances are marked by vertical boarded doors set within heavy flush frames, one at numbers 39 and one at 43.
