Description

The Chequers Inn is an early 18th-century building located on Bridge Street. It is two stories tall with an attic and features two gabled dormers. The roof is tiled, and the structure is made of red brick, which includes a floor band and a plinth. On the first floor, there are three flush frame casements, while the ground floor has two casements with segmental arches. The entrance is marked by a six-panel door with a near-flush frame. The Chequers Inn, along with Nos 17 and 21, forms a group of buildings of architectural significance.
