Description

The ha-ha located 70 meters west of Avington House dates from around 1780. It features a brick wall that retains earth and runs parallel to the west front of the house. The wall extends north from 10 meters south of the stables, situated next to the original drive leading down towards the lake. The brick retaining wall stands 2 meters high, with a ditch in front of it.
