Description
East Plestor Cottage and West Plestor Cottage are a row of three cottages, now functioning as two dwellings, dating from the mid-18th century. They feature painted brick walls arranged in Flemish bond, with a band at the first floor, cambered openings on the ground floor, and a plinth. The roof is tiled and half-hipped at the west end, showcasing an exposed frame in the gable and brick dentil eaves. The front, facing north-west, is two storeys high with four windows and casements. There are three plain doorways, one of which belongs to West Plestor Cottage and has a six-panelled door set beneath a cornice supported by brackets. The end walls are constructed of malmstone, with brick quoins. Additionally, there is a tall wing at the rear of West Plestor Cottage.
