Description
The horse gin located at No 14 to the north-east of the farmhouse dates from the late 19th century and was used to serve the adjacent granary. It has an octagonal plan and features a nodular flint plinth with red brick dressings. Above this, the structure is weatherboarded and topped with a conical slate roof. Each side of the building has one unglazed window, which is fitted with wooden lattices arranged diagonally. The machinery that would have been used with the horse gin is currently missing.
