Description

The gates and railings in front of Bramdean House date from around 1900. They feature brick gatepiers topped with stone copings, along with wrought iron gates and railings. The railings are set on low brick walls with brick piers at intervals, nearly concealed by a large yew hedge. At each end, the railings create quadrant walls beside tall brick gate piers, which have stone entablature copings topped with urns. The wrought iron gates are designed in an early 18th-century style and were likely brought from Norfolk around 1900.
