Description

The property is a farmhouse, dating to the 17th century, with significant alterations in the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The front of the farmhouse is 18th century, though incorporating earlier walls at the rear, with a long early 19th century bay added to the left. The main facade presents as a four-bay, two-storey structure, with a longer added bay to one side. A central doorway is framed by Doric pilasters, a broken entablature, and an open pediment, leading to a six-panelled door with an arched radiating fanlight. Three 19th century tripartite sash windows are set beneath gauged brick arches on the ground floor. Above, three nine-pane sashes are present, topped by a 19th century dentil cornice. The roof is half-hipped with brick stacks at the end of the 18th century section.
