Description

A pair of table tombs, dating from the early 19th century, is located 20 metres east of the chancel in Hambledon. These rectangular stone monuments have identical designs, featuring moulded caps and flat pilasters at each corner, which include vertical fillets and grooves, as well as moulded bases. One of the tombs has an inscription that refers to Jane Bone, who died on February 10, 1815, while the inscription on the other tomb is worn but also dates to 1815.
