Description

Folly Tower, located at Hapton, is a tower that dates back to the early 19th century. Originally situated in the grounds of the Red House on East Street, which was formerly known as Tower House, it is now part of a 20th-century house called Hapton. The tower features walls made of flint with brick quoins and has pointed arches along with brick dentilled cornices. The stone coping adorns the parapet. This square tower stands three storeys high and has a castellated top. Each face at the top has a casement window, while the middle of the southeast elevation includes a rectangular window. The doorway on the northwest elevation is also designed with a pointed arch.
