Description

Home Farm Barn is a former barn that has been converted into a dwelling, dating from the late 17th century. It features brick walls constructed in English bond, although the west gable is mainly from the 20th century. The roof is tiled, hipped at the east end and above the waggon entrance, and half-hipped at the west end. The barn has a timber frame with five bays and aisles on three sides, a central entrance, and a tall queen-post truss with curved braces supporting the tie-beams. Attached to the north side is a small stable built in the mid-19th century, which has a tile roof and walls made of coarse flint with brick dressings.
