Description

No 67 High Street is a house that has been converted into a shop. It dates back to the 16th century and was restored in 1904. The building features a timber frame with exposed framing and plaster infilling, topped with a plain tiled roof that has a gable end facing the road. It is 1½ storeys high and has a tall octagonal shallow bay on the right side, which includes a parapet. To the left, there is a small casement window above a half-glazed door that has a Tudor arch and is set within a Caernarvon-arched surround. Inside, there is significant evidence of timber framing, although the restoration has obscured the original form of the building.
