Description

Eagle House Antiques Market with the Parish Room over it is a building dating from about 1820, originally constructed as the Town Hall on Island Site in Midhurst Market Square. The building is of two storeys. The west front is stuccoed, with a rusticated ground floor and flanking pilasters. It has a hipped slate roof. Modern windows have been added to the ground floor, although the first-floor windows retain their original glazing bars. The side walls are of stone rubble. An external staircase leads to the first floor on the north side. The building has two windows. The ground floor was likely originally open.
