Description
Granville House, also known as The Fernery, is a terrace of houses located on the east side of Midhurst Market Square. The building dates back to the 17th century or earlier and features timber-framed construction, with some exposed timbering visible at the rear or east side. Originally, the houses were refronted in the 18th century as a terrace of three houses. The exterior is made of stone with red brick dressings and quoins, topped by a hipped tiled roof. The glazing bars are intact, and there are outside stone steps leading to the first floor on the south side. The building has two storeys and an attic, with a total of nine windows and four hipped dormers.
