Description
Mill House is an 18th century house with a 17th century west wing. It has two storeys and four windows, featuring a moderately high pitched, hipped tiled roof. The first floor is tile hung, while the ground floor is made of malmstone with some brick dressings. The 18th century sash windows have glazing bars in near-flush frames, with the ground floor windows being three-light. There is a six-panel door with a patterned rectangular fanlight beneath a small hood supported by cut brackets. The north front displays two bays of the early 18th century brick house and two wide bays of the 17th century section to the west, which has a hipped tiled roof with a higher pitch and replaced casement windows that also feature glazing bars. Inside, there is some 17th century panelling.
