Description

The wall to the south-east of Lewes House is an 18th-century structure with additions and repairs from the 19th and 20th centuries. It is constructed of red brick, primarily in English bond, and stands approximately 8 feet high and 30 yards long. At the north end, there is a red brick archway featuring rusticated blocked quoins and key-blocks. The coping on the eastern side has been partially rebuilt.
