Description

The Plumer tomb, located 3 yards east of the Church of St John the Baptist, is a chest tomb dated 1771. It is made of dressed stone and features a moulded plinth with panelled sides. The corners are adorned with paired raised panelled pilasters, and the lid is double-chamfered with a hip above. The tomb is inscribed to ....... Plumer, who died in 1771.
