Description

Raughmere Farm consists of farm buildings located to the north of the farmhouse, dating from the 19th century. The complex includes six buildings, four of which create a courtyard. The two main structures are positioned on the east and west sides of the courtyard. The west side features a large barn constructed of red brick, with two hipped projections on the east side that were formerly wagon entrances. A large modern addition has been added to this side. The east side was originally stables and is two storeys high, built of a combination of red brick, flints, and tile hanging. The south side of this building is a single storey, faced with weatherboarding, and its roof has been removed. The north side contains a single storey stable made of red brick. To the east, there are two open cattle or cart sheds; the southern shed is faced with flints, while the northern one is clad in weatherboarding and features wooden columns that form an arcade.
