Description
Dated 1787 and built by the Duke of Richmond, Raughmere Farmhouse is a two-story building with three windows. The exterior is faced with Roman cement and features a modillion eaves cornice. It has a hipped slate roof and casement windows. A doorway is set within a moulded architrave surround, topped with a projecting cornice, and contains a door of six moulded panels. The date 1787 is inscribed on the building, alongside a stone carving of the Richmond arms. Flanking the farmhouse are flint walls which connect to small, square, single-story pavilions with hipped roofs.
