Description

This is a range of 18th-century cottages located on the west side of Chichester Road in Mid Lavant, near Lavant. The cottages, originally known as "Jo-anne," comprise The Old Post Office House and Raughmere and Raughmere Cottages numbers 1 and 2. The building is constructed of painted brick, with a modillion eaves cornice and a tiled roof. Most of the glazing bars have been lost from the windows. The Old Post Office House, situated at the south end of the range, features a small shop window with plate glass. The property is listed for its group value.
