Description

The Hillman tomb, located 15 yards south of the Church of St Anne, is a chest tomb dated 1858 and designed in a neo-Norman style. It features a stepped base with a moulded plinth that supports the tomb, which has two moulded arches on each side and one at each end. The corners are adorned with inset columns that have moulded bases and scalloped capitals. The tomb is topped with a scalloped cornice and a moulded lid that has a stepped ridge.
