Description
The Pelham Arms Hotel is a house that has been converted into a hotel. It dates from the 18th century and was altered in the 19th century. The building is constructed of painted brick and features a plain tiled roof that is hipped to the left. The ridge of the left-hand rear wing is visible at the left end of the main ridge. The hotel has two storeys with an irregular arrangement of windows; there are five glazing bar sashes with exterior shutters on the first floor and three tripartite sashes on the ground floor. The doorway is located to the left of the centre and is framed by Doric columns and a hood with an entablature.
