Description

Maudlin Farm Cottage is an L-shaped building dating from the 17th and 19th centuries. The west wing was originally a separate cottage and bears a date of 1684. The main portion of the house was constructed in the early 19th century. The cottage has two storeys and four windows. The walls are faced with flints and have red brick dressings, quoins, and a stringcourse. The roof is hipped and tiled. The windows include some horizontally-sliding sash windows, some ordinary sash windows with intact glazing bars, and some casement windows. This building has group value.
