Description

Burchetts Cottage is an L-shaped building located in Chiddingly. The west wing dates from the 17th century or earlier and is two storeys high with two windows. It is faced with weather-boarding and features casement windows. The north-south wing, which is of a higher elevation and dates from the early 19th century, is faced with grey headers, red brick dressings, and quoins. This wing includes one round-headed window and a small 19th-century gabled porch. The entire building has a tiled roof.
