Description

Fowlers Cottages is an L-shaped building located on London Road in Coldwaltham. The west wing dates from the 17th century or earlier and is constructed of timber framing with infill made of flints and carstone rubble, although it has been partly refaced with coursed stone. The building has a tiled roof and is one storey high with an attic. It features one gabled dormer that contains an original casement window with diamond-shaped panes, while another similar window has been replaced by a modern projection. The east wing was added in the 19th century.
