Description

Bramber Castle Ruins are located on the north side of Bramber The Street. This site features fragments of a Norman motte and bailey castle, with one section rising about 50 feet high. The castle was likely constructed by the first William de Braose. It is recognized as a Scheduled Ancient Monument and is managed by the National Trust.
