Description

This is an early 19th-century building comprising Ambrose and Malthouse Cottage. It has three storeys, with Malthouse Cottage having two storeys, and features four windows. The building is stuccoed, while Malthouse Cottage is of painted brick. The roof is slate, except for Malthouse Cottage which has a tiled roof. The original glazing bars remain intact. Ambrose Cottage has a porch supported by plain columns, and Atherton Cottage has a modern doorway in the Georgian style.
