Description
Lloyds Bank is a brick building dating from around 1800, located on the north side of The Square. It stands three storeys tall and features five windows. The low-pitched, hipped slate roof has a deep restored modillion cornice. The centre section of the building slightly projects forward. The recessed sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged, flat brick arches. The central windows and door have a reproduction classical design in stone. To the left, there is a two-storey extension with two windows, styled similarly and featuring a classical doorcase. This building, along with Nos 1, 2, 3, and 5, forms a group with No 1 Chapel Street.
