Description

This headstone, located 12 yards south of the Church of St Anne, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of stone and features a terracotta plaque. The stone is shouldered with a rounded head, and it has an inset terracotta depiction of a cornucopia created by Jonathon Harmer of Heathfield, who also designed the coat-of-arms on the Market Tower in Market Street.
