Description
Itchen Stoke House is a rectory that has been converted into a private house, dating from the early 19th century. The building is constructed of brick that has been stuccoed, with a slated roof and a rendered brick stack. It is two stories high and has four bays, with a lower two-story, five-bay service range attached to the left side.
The entrance is located in the second bay from the right and features a tripartite door with central double doors, which is sheltered by a porch with a pent roof supported by latticed timber columns. Each of the other bays on both floors contains a 12-paned sash window. The building has a wide eaves cornice adorned with modillions. The roof has a lower pitch, with a ridge stack positioned above the door and a gable stack at the left end. The garden front includes two tripartite windows set within elliptical arches on the ground floor.
