Description
The Old Girls School is a building dating from 1819, originally constructed as a Unitarian chapel. It is two storeys high and features three windows, all set in painted brick. The gable has been raised, and the date is displayed between scroll motifs. The building has round-headed windows with their glazing bars still intact. A portion that extended to the west has been demolished, leaving only its west wall, which acts as a screen in front of the building. This wall includes a central rusticated doorway with a pediment, flanked by round-headed archways on either side.
