Description
Suetts Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century. It features a timber frame that has been reclad in early and mid 19th century materials, with some minor changes and renovations in the 20th century. The walls are constructed of brickwork in Flemish Garden Wall bond, with stone lintels and cills on the south front. There are some cambered openings and a moulded cement plinth. The frame is exposed on one gable. The roof is hipped, half-hipped, and gabled, with a catslide at the rear and a shafted stack.
This is a lobby-entrance house with a Victorian front, presenting a symmetrical elevation on the southwest side that has two storeys and an attic. It features two coupled sash windows and casements in the gabled dormers. There is a brick porch with a gable and a stone oval arch topped with a decorative triangle. Additionally, there are 20th century outshots at the side and rear, and the frame is exposed inside the building.
